What We Know About Maureen Maguire

Ed Kelce shared the news of Maguire's death on Facebook Aug. 2, by posting her obituary.

She was born on Nov. 21, 1950 in the Bronx, New York and spent most of her life in New York City, according to the obituary.

Graduating West Chester University in 1972, she went on to become an elementary school teacher.

Maguire was 74 when she died the day before, surrounded by family and friends.

She leaves behind a brother, a sister, three children and six grandchildren.

"She loved the beach—especially the shore—and had a deep affection for dogs. In recent years, she spent treasured time in Cape May with her family, enjoying peaceful days by the ocean," the obituary stated. "She also grew an unexpected love for football later in life, sharing many laughs and adventures with her beloved friend Ed Kelce and her loyal dog Butch. Together, they traveled often and attended football games and concerts, and embraced every opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest."

How Maguire and Ed Kelce met remains a mystery.
