First $1.5M Praga Bohema Supercar Bound for U.S. Delivery

The Praga Bohema, a $1.5 million hypercar from the Czech Republic, is officially en route to the United States—marking the company’s first U.S. delivery of its flagship street-legal supercar.

Developed by Czech motorsport manufacturer Praga, the Bohema is a rare, hand-built vehicle combining race-inspired engineering with road-going accessibility. With just 89 examples planned for global production, the Bohema is poised to become one of the most exclusive hypercars available to U.S. collectors.

Powered by a modified version of the Nissan GT-R’s twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 engine, the Bohema produces approximately 700 horsepower and weighs under 2,200 pounds. The result is a performance machine capable of hitting 186 mph and accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in under 3.5 seconds—figures that rival even the most established names in the hypercar segment.

Unlike many boutique supercars, the Bohema is designed with real-world usability in mind. It features a dual-clutch transmission, active aerodynamics, and a carbon monocoque chassis. Inside, the cockpit delivers a stripped-down racing feel, but includes features like air conditioning and adjustable pedals to accommodate road use.

This first U.S.-bound example is expected to be delivered in the coming weeks to an unnamed buyer, and it will likely be showcased at upcoming automotive events such as Monterey Car Week or The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering.

The move into the American market signals a broader expansion for Praga, which previously focused on racing equipment and karts. With the Bohema, the company joins the growing field of low-volume, high-performance automakers capturing the attention of wealthy enthusiasts seeking alternatives to traditional brands like Ferrari, Lamborghini, and McLaren.
